Congratulations to all the senior and junior players who participated in the competition! It was an incredible day filled with some the best matches we've witnessed in years, showcasing excellent sportsmanship. The club medal haul was 8 golds, 9 silvers, and 4 bronzes. Special recognition goes to Kacey Tanner for Junior Player of the Day, and to Johnny Obrien for Senior Player of the Day, marking a remarkable return to the mat after so many years away. A heartfelt thank you to everyone on the committee for helping put this event together. Lastly a personal message to Mr Damien Lane of Kano Samurai Judo Club for your unwavering support and dedication in helping everyone achieve their judo goals. It's truly a pleasure to be part of something so special!
BELGIUM OPEN 2024
Congratulations to the amazing team! In October, we travelled to Belgium for their first international competition, proudly representing Ireland. It was nerve-wracking experience for both the lads and their coaches, they truly delivered. They returned home with an impressive haul of 1 gold and 3 bronze medals, a fantastic achievement that showcases their hard work and dedication!
